Technology information for spaces and equipment in the Roesch Library.

Team Rooms (Roesch Library, Rooms 501, 502 and 601)

Team Rooms 501, 502 and 601 at the Roesch Library have a built-in projection system. These rooms can be reserved for a maximum of three hours a day. A valid UD email address is required to make a reservation. Learn more about Roesch Library study spaces, view availability and make reservations.

Roesch Library has many team rooms available. Rooms 501, 502, and 601 are flexible spaces with a ceiling-mounted projector.

 

These Team Rooms Offer:

  • Projection system with HDMI* and VGA video input and 3.5mm audio input.
  • Arrangeable tables and seating for 10 to 16, depending on the room.
  • Dry-erase board*.
  • Accessible friendly.

 

NOTE:

  • Room 601 does not have an HDMI input. You will need an adapter to connect your laptop, either a VGA to HDMI adapter or VGA to USB-C. Come to the first-floor Hello Desk to check out a cable or adapter if you don't have one.
  • The projector screen in these rooms is not a dry-erase board. Please do not use dry-erase markers on this surface.

Quick Start

Starting the System

  1. Go to the Crestron control panel to the left of the projection system.

    1. Press the Display Power button at the top left to turn on the projector. The projector will take a few moments to warm up.
    2. Press the appropriate Source button. The Crestron panel in your room may have different sources available. The input wall plate is located below this panel.
    3. Adjust the Volume on the Crestron panel with the volume knob. The LED lights indicate the current volume level.
  2. (Optional) Press Display Mute to temporarily blank the projected image. Press again to restore the image. The LED will be lit red when the projector is muted.
  3. If you need audio from the laptop, check that the sound output is not muted and is set to use the display speakers. Adjust the volume of the application, Windows/Mac system volume and Crestron as needed.

Shutting the System Down

  1. Press the Display Power button at the top left of the Crestron panel to turn off the projector.
  2. Leave rooms as you find them. Do not add or remove anything from the rooms.
  3. Return any borrowed cables to the Hello Desk on the first floor.
