Music may be played through the library sound system during special events or occasions. The library sound system controls are located in the tech closet on the second floor. Sound can be projected through the ceiling speakers in the following spaces:
Lobby
Rose Gallery
North Stairwell (connects to the Lobby)
Concourse D
Play Music Through the Speakers in These Spaces
Connect a device to one of the 3.5mm Audio Input ports on the wall inside the second-floor tech closet. These inputs require a 3.5mm connector; adapters should be available in the drawer at the bottom of the equipment rack in the same closet.
On the equipment rack Crestron touch panel, touch Advanced Controls from the left set of buttons and then touch Sound System Audio Input Controls at the top right.
Select the Source and Destination.
Select the appropriate Wall Plate Source ("Wall Plate 1" or "Wall Plate 2") where the device is connected.
Select the Audio Destination.

Adjust the volume. Although you can control the overall volume through the Crestron, each location also has a volume knob.
Lobby Stairwell — The knob is inside a locked box past the second-floor doorway.
Lobby — The knob is in the back office behind the Hello Desk.
Gallery — The knob is inside the Rose Gallery tech closet. Press the Control Source button and then adjust the volume.
Concourse D — The knob is inside a locked box on the wall near the Story Studio.
