ISDA Student Employee Guide

This guide is designed for students working for the Information Systems and Digital Access (ISDA) team in the University Libraries. It includes guidance on specific technologies, troubleshooting, and basic information about working in the library

ViewHub Support

ViewHub is a screencasting technology available in two rooms in Roesch Library: Room 115 and 223. Both are reservable as Huddle Rooms on the library’s room reservation system.

Both rooms are equipped with ViewHub screens that allow one user to cast their computer screen to the wall-mounted monitor to facilitate collaborations or small presentations.

In order to connect and cast to the screen, you first need to install the T1V app.

Connect to a ViewHub Display

  1. Download and install the T1V app on your laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

  1. Turn on the display using the Display Power button on the wall panel to the right of the ViewHub monitor.

  2. Once you’ve installed the T1V app, open it and use the ViewHub credentials (available in the top right corner of the ViewHub monitor) Screenshot of the ViewHub screen showing an example of connection credentials
