UDiscover User Guide

To sign in to UDiscover, go to https://udiscover.udayton.edu/ and select the "Sign In" link (located in the upper-right corner of the screen) and enter your UD username and password. Once signed in, you can do more when searching. This includes the ability to save records, save searches, view your search history history, and place holds.

You can also access your UDiscover account to:

• see what material you have checked out
• renew items
• manage holds you've placed
• pay any existing fines

UDiscover launched June 25, 2025, in collaboration with the OhioLINK Library consortium.

UDiscover replaces the UD Library catalog, Library Publications search (sometimes known as Journals Search), and old version of UDiscover with a more integrated system.
