Connect to Library Resources

Off-campus access to online library collections (e-books, e-journals, databases, streaming media, etc) can be integrated into your work, learning, and research in a number of ways. All faculty, staff, and students are provided with the following options:

• Access to our online collections from the Library website landing page. The search box and links on this page are configured to ensure authentication and avoid paywalls when off-campus. 

• "Access Through Your Institution" or "Find my Institution" links within publisher websites.

• Google Scholar customization to display University of Dayton Library FIND IT! Links.

• For a handful of resources (New York Times Online, Wall Street Journal Online, and the Chronicle), a custom login for a free UD account. This helps to ensure that you are always logged in to these subscription news sources.

• Custom UD links to our collections from the citation management tool Zotero.

• The browser plugin EBSCO Passport to provide more seamless access to our collections.
