E-Resources Usage Dashboard (FY22)

Summary

UD Libraries provides access to ~740K unique e-book titles. The list below represents the most highly used e-book titles in the most recent fiscal years with the number of "total item requests" listed for each title. A separate metric of "unique item requests" is also listed under the details for each bar, which can be viewed by hovering over the bar. Please see the glossary section for an explanation of the difference between these two metrics.

Top E-Books FY21 & FY22 Usage

Notes

This visual displays the top 100 titles for FY21 and FY22. All data visualized on this page is COUNTER 5. This list does not include any usage from Safari. This comes as a result of Safari not providing COUNTER statistics, nor do they allow for SUSHI harvesting in LibInsight. Also worth noting, a lot of the usage this year occurred within OhioLINK's Electronic Book Center (EBC) platform. For example, even though The Wiley Blackwell Companion to Latino/a Theology is available from the Wiley Online Library platform (https://flyers.udayton.edu/record=b4017882~S0), 100% of the 771 unique item requests occurred in the EBC. The same is true for usage of the The Jossey-Bass handbook of nonprofit leadership and management (https://flyers.udayton.edu/record=b4035483). This access trend for ebooks is in stark contrast to how little UD users access OhioLINK's Electronic Journal Center (EJC) platform to retrieve full-text articles (relative to publisher platforms and EBSCO).
