GIS

Students, faculty and staff who are currently affiliated with the University of Dayton are eligible to download a licensed copy of ArcGIS Pro. Individuals can also request an ArcGIS Online account to be created as well. Once a ArcGIS Online account is created, individuals can also download ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS Online - an account will be created for you so you can login. ArcGIS Online includes StoryMaps

ArcGIS Pro - a ArcGIS Online account is needed in order to download this software (more instructions below)

To download ArcGIS Pro, login to your ArcGIS Online account and follow the next steps.

1.  Click on your profile, located in the top right section of the site.

2.  Click on LICENSES under My settings

3.  You will then see a link to download ArcGIS Pro (see image below)

4.  Click on the download link and follow the steps provided.

The following are GIS platforms that are free to use. They are unsupported by UD, however they are free to use if you would like to get started using a GIS platform. This short list is not exhaustive of the many free GIS platforms that exist, but are viewed as some of the more popular platforms being used.
