Midwest Entrepreneurship Case Competition

Research for Case Analysis

The Midwest Entrepreneurship Case Competition requires real-world business research using relevant sources of data and information. Students are encouraged to use a wide range of resources, including resources provided by MECC sponsors, reliable information from the open web, and databases and other tools available at their university libraries.

Subscription Databases & Research Support

MECC participants should visit their own libraries for access to subscription databases and support with research. This guide will recommend some subscription databases, however, access and availability of tools will vary depending on your university or college. Any link in this guide displaying a lock symbol will restrict access to students at University of Dayton, but you will often find the same or similar resource at your own library.
