Microsoft PowerPoint offers several slide design themes in the Design tab. When selecting a design, it is recommended to choose a theme that is simple, clean, and easy to understand. Note: Some designs may have inadequate color contrast. Refer to the section on color contrast for more guidance on how to check for color contrast.
Go to the Home or Insert tab, click New Slide to insert a new slide, selecting the appropriate slide type ("Title", "Title and Content", "Two Content", etc.).
Slide layouts include elements for title and content placeholders to help organize the sections of each slide. Using the built-in layouts will help with structuring a logical reading order for users with screen readers.
To change and preserve the formatting of all slides, you can use the Slide Master. Go to the View tab and select Slide Master.
Formatting in the Slide Master will update each slide and help ensure consistent styling throughout your presentation.
