REL 103
Optional library research
Instructors are advised to schedule as early as possible or as soon as they determine an appropriate date for a research session. For most options listed below, a 1-week notice is needed in order for the librarians to effectively prepare for the session.
For your consideration: We have found that the library sessions are particularly effective when students need to complete a research-based assignment and have already determined their topics. We will work with you to develop a session that is based on the research needs for your course and assignments.

The teaching librarians can also work with you to create a customized research guide that supplements the in-person library session.
This option is included on the research session form. Let us know if you would like a guide!
Librarians can also make a research guide on library resources, tailored to your class's needs. Research guides typically include links to relevant subject encyclopedias, databases, catalog searches, suggested keywords, and more. They are usually made in conjunction with the librarian visiting the class for a library instruction session.
Here is an example of a research guide created for one particular section of REL 103. Again, a guide will be tailored to your class.
