Find Dissertations and Theses

Dissertations and theses contain research completed by scholars pursuing advanced degrees. These materials can be found in numerous locations. Aside from the interdisciplinary databases that store such materials (such as ProQuest), dissertations and theses can often be found within the originating university's institutional repository. If you need assistance finding a theses or dissertation, please contact the Roesch Library

Here's some helpful resources for locating dissertations:

OhioLINK Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center - Contains over 58,000 theses and dissertations from thirty-one of Ohio’s academic institutions.

ProQuest - Provides a comprehensive collection of dissertation and theses materials (although not all materials are full text).

University of Dayton eCommons - The eCommons is the institutional repository at the University of Dayton. The eCommons features many dissertations and theses from across multiple disciplines.
