The University of Dayton is committed to honoring the value and dignity of all people, including those who are LGBTQ+. Our LGBTQ+ students, faculty, staff, and alumni — as well as those who have family, friends and loved ones who identify as LGBTQ+ — are integral to our community. Our Catholic and Marianist charism and values call us to love and respect all people equally as everyone is created in the image of God.
UD’s Brook Center for Empowerment and Wellbeing provides programming, resources and support for LGBTQ+ students. Guided by our Catholic and Marianist values, the University of Dayton is committed to honoring the intrinsic value and dignity of all people. We strive to foster a campus community where all members, including those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) are welcomed, respected, safe, and valued. We value the dignity of every member and seek to cultivate an environment in which genuine human relationships and the beauty of their diversity can flourish. In this way, individuals can thrive, learn, and live to their potential. https://go.udayton.edu/lgbtq
