This section is intended as a warehouse for storing mapped boxes and content for use in public guides. These are the definitive versions, so please contact your LibGuides administrator before making any changes!
How to Reuse Resources
To begin, find the "Add Box" link where you'd like to insert the mapped content.
Next, select the tab for "Reuse Existing Box."
On this page, find the UD Libraries Style Guide and browse the available content or type in part of the name of the box you'd like to reuse. You can also rename the box for your new guide while still mapping to the definitive version on the Style Guide.
Note: We advise against choosing "Copy" when mapping guides, since this content is intended to be standardized across all of our course and subject guides. If you create a copy, it will not automatically update if the content is changed in this master Style Guide.
Finally, check to see if the box was mapped correctly. You should see a small "Recycle" icon at the top of the box, which indicates it is reused content from another guide. Additionally, the "Edit mode is disabled for mapped boxes" text will not show up on the published page.
