Introduction

Welcome to the University of Dayton Libraries' guide to HST498:  Capstone.

Use the links on the left to explore research resources. 

There are topic-specific pages as well as primary sources and introductions to both Scalar and Zotero.


Task 1:  Sign up for a Zotero account.

Task 2:  To get started in Scalar (in a few weeks), request a registration key now so you can sign up for a free account.

Task 3:  developing a word bank.  Use this Jamboard link to brainstorm keywords.  Keep this jamboard open to add more words as you research.

Background Information

Your capstone work involves primary source research.  However, you will need to contextualize that work with secondary sources.  Disciplinary encyclopedias can provide a basic grounding in the themes you're tackling and point you to relevant works in the field.
