Individual Inquiry
Open February 10, 2025 - February 14, 2025
As community members at UD, and citizen-scholars on campus and beyond, data is part of your daily life. Data shapes the way you understand the world, and it is important to build habits of curiosity and critical thinking about the data you consume, create, and share.
This self-guided program will explore the many ways you may encounter data and help you develop skills for investigating, evaluating, and making decisions about data. You'll learn about the ways data becomes information and how it contributes to understanding, knowledge, and well-being of individuals and groups. You will also learn about the personal and social aspects of data. Finally, you will explore how data appears in media, research, and social settings and learn approaches for analyzing this information to form your own conclusions and act with integrity and accountability.
This AVIATE event will take you through a series of learning modules and will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes. You are required to complete all of the modules to receive your PATH credit. It may take up to one week after this AVIATE opportunity ends for your PATH credit to appear.
